“Living to be a word of gentleness is strength. Living to be a hand of help is power. You are a presence of healing through your inner wisdom that guides you.

“This day, many suffer. Your own pain is comforted by being kind. Live to be a voice of support, and your days will always be uplifted. Live to be a touch of generosity, and your days will be given sustenance. Live to be an expression of respect, and your own heart will be at peace.

“Life is in your control. Your happiness is in a heart that lives to be a benefit. When your choices lift up another, your own difficulties can be erased. For life is not what troubles you—but how you lift up any other. This is the way to feel your own inner peace. In this way, you lift up into the divinity of your own true Self.

“Life is giving, even when all you have to give is: I see you. Simply be present. Be supportive. That is what everyone needs, and that is how you find your own way.

“In being a person who surrenders your angst, you find a gentleness nurturing you. Yes, there is a need to be strong. But be strong by letting your empathy be the true force that determines what you do, where you go, how you are a benefit.

“Be present. Simply feel for the one who is distraught. You don’t need to have words. All that person needs is to know: someone is here for me.

“Blessed are you on this day, and know this: Good comes to you. It is yours.”
